Stalowa Wola: The Last Shift

Original title: STALOWA WOLA — Ostatnia zmiana. One shift is over. One loaf of bread stands between Zbyszek and home.

On the disk

  • Four screens. The factory gate, a courtyard, the grocery and a stairwell, crossed on foot, with a jump when the pavement demands it.
  • One budget. Zbyszek starts with 1.20 zloty. Bread costs 2.00. Bottles bring 0.40 each at the shop, and holding the neighbor's antenna pays 1.20.
  • A deadline. The shop closes after eight minutes of play. Conversations stop the clock; the goose does not.
  • Three endings. Home with bread and no beer, home with bread after a beer, or home with nothing.
  • The look and sound. Pre-rendered VGA-style art at 640×400 and chiptune music synthesized in the browser.

The goal

The game puts it in four words on its own screen: Kup chleb. Nie komplikuj. Buy bread. Do not complicate things.

Zbyszek complicates things. That is the game.

Language

Everything inside the build is in Polish: the game, its page, the README and the bundled docs. Only this record is in English.
