Description
A short point-and-click mystery in autumnal Wyoming, October 1991. Freelance photographer Max Reed comes to Dry Creek to find his missing colleague Eddie's last roll of film. Four locations (the Blue Pine Motel, Dot's Diner, the Dry Creek Sawmill and Crow's Ridge), five verbs, a small inventory, animated dialogue portraits, pixel-art scenery and an original nocturnal jazz score synthesized in the browser, all inside a 1990s small-town newspaper website. About 10 to 15 minutes, and nobody dies.
Archive notes
Bilingual: English by default, with a Ukrainian translation under Settings > Language. The strings in its code are Ukrainian and i18n.js maps them to English. According to docs/ORIGIN.md, the game surfaced in 1994 as LASTFRM.ZIP on SOVA-2400, a BBS in the basement of a research institute outside Kyiv; the English localization came decades later, and the original author remains unidentified. Progress and the language choice are saved in the browser. The build still carries three earlier art variants it no longer loads. No license accompanies it.
