Description
Macau, November 1993. A harbor exchange goes wrong and a blue diplomatic suitcase disappears. As undercover cop Jack Wong or former smuggler Mei Lin, fight through the docks, the Red Lotus nightclub and the casino of Hotel Imperador with punches, kicks, grabs and throws, a metal pipe or a six-round pistol, and one special each: Jack's Gun Dive or Mei's Spinning Fury.
Archive notes
According to the bundled README, Jade Circuit, a six-person Hong Kong studio, made the game in 1993 as the pack-in for the Dragon-16 II, an unlicensed Mega Drive II clone financed by a Sham Shui Po electronics wholesaler. In early 1994 an anti-smuggling raid and a fire at the Kowloon warehouse destroyed the studio's computers, source disks and cartridge stock before the first shipment. One EPROM test cartridge marked only ACTION / SAMPLE reportedly surfaced at an Apliu Street flea-market stall in 2025. The surviving demo has three stages at 320×240 and a damaged final sequence: the climax breaks up into VHS noise and a playback error, then cuts to DEMO VERSION END, and Victor Leong and the true ending are missing. The build is v0.3, yet its page header still reads V0.2 and the title screen V0.2 RED LOTUS. No credits name the people who made it.
