Description

A cross-generation browser graphics experiment inspired by the 1984 Amiga Boing Ball demo. One shared scene, physics and projection are rendered through several browser-era techniques: Canvas 2D for modern browsers, VML for old Internet Explorer where available, and positioned DIVs or Netscape Layers as the last fallback.

Archive notes

A dependency-free static tribute, not a port: no original Amiga code or assets are included. Quirks mode, document.write, old DOM and event APIs, BGSOUND and JavaScript written for very old engines are kept on purpose. It has been tested in old Internet Explorer, including IE6 on Windows XP, but not yet in every legacy browser it is meant for. Having reached its goal, it graduated to a standalone repository and GitHub Pages demo.
